Steez Promo and the rest of the team that brought you MEGA on June 17th at
Club Ibiza in DC would like to take this time to sincerely apologize to everyone who
was inconvenienced by the long wait times at the door for ticket holders to get in.
We would also like to take this time to apologize for other shortcomings of the event
and provide you with improvements that we will be making to our events at Club
Ibiza moving forward. We realize this apology and explanation is long overdue but
we wanted to make sure we had solutions to the problems as well as compensation
for those inconvenienced prior to sending this out.
First we would like to address the issues at the front door. While lines can
sometimes be expected at events of this size and scale, we realize that the wait times
at June’s MEGA event were an extreme and our fans and customers deserve better
than that. We are working closely with Ibiza to re-organize their process at the front
door to make sure the line is moving quickly and patrons are getting into the venue
at an efficient rate. We will also be giving away 200 tickets to each MEGA event
moving forward to those who purchased advance tickets on Missiontix.com for
MEGA on June 17th, 2011. In order to request to receive these tickets please email
DCMega@SteezPromo.com, your name must be on the will call list from MEGA on
June 17th to receive them. Tickets will be given out first come first serve based on
your email request.
We understand there were several other shortcomings for patrons once
inside the venue that we would like to address one by one. First, we would like to
announce that we will be cutting back the tickets made available for future events
at Club Ibiza by almost 500 in order to prevent any overcrowding and allow for a
more comfortable experience for attendees. Second, Club Ibiza will be finishing the
renovations on their newly remodeled rooftop, which will both increase the size of
the venue to allow for a more comfortable experience for attendees as well as allow
for a much larger smoking area for attendees. Finally, we are currently working with
the venue to get the price of water reduced.
Once again we would like to apologize to everyone who was experienced
these shortcomings and reassure you that Steez Promo is committed to providing
quality events that provide positive experiences for everyone who attends and are
committed to making improvements on all of our events until our events are perfect.
We hope to see everyone back out on August 5th, as we bring you another
edition of the Mega event series this time featuring:
